Bulldogs, Panthers Share TEC Championship

CENTERVILLE, Ind. –
Defending Tri-Eastern Conference boys tennis champion Centerville and league newcomer Knightstown shared the overall title on Monday night.

The Bulldogs won the TEC Tournament crown with 53 points, while the regular season champion Panthers finished second with 41 points.

Centerville claimed three championships as the Bulldogs swept the doubles action. Knightstown won a pair of singles titles.

None of the other team scoring changed from Saturday’s first two rounds as Lincoln finished third with 16 points. Tri High was fourth with 11 points.

The remaining teams in order were Hagerstown 9 points, Northeastern 6, Union City 6, Winchester 3 and Union County 0.
